The distributor-facing companion to the Salveowell app, with 10K+ Android installs. Members sign in for tier-based pricing, buy membership packages and manage their selling activity. My team built it under my supervision while I owned the architecture, review and releases.

01 · The Challenge
What Problem Did This Project Solve?
A second commerce app where price, entitlement and eligibility all depend on who is asking.
- Member pricing, discounts and package visibility differ by tier, so no price can be hardcoded or cached naively on the client.
- The app overlaps heavily with the retail app but must never blur into it — a member and a retail customer see different prices for the same product.
- Membership package purchases have consequences in the compensation engine, so the client has to hand off cleanly and never guess at the outcome.
- Delivered by a team rather than one developer, which meant conventions and review discipline mattered more than raw speed.
- Two apps shipping from one backend on parallel release trains — a backend change can break either one.
02 · The Solution
What Solution Was Delivered?
Shared foundations with a strict separation between retail and member commerce rules.
- Shared UI conventions and API patterns with the retail app, so a developer moving between the two codebases is immediately productive.
- Entitlement and pricing always resolved server-side by tier — the client renders what it is told and never computes a discount itself.
- Membership package purchase flows that hand off to the backend and reflect its result, rather than predicting commission outcomes on-device.
- Code review and architecture ownership held centrally so a team build stayed coherent.
- Release trains versioned against backend releases, keeping both apps and the platform in step.
