Expenses Meet Mobile Application
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Expenses Meet mobile application (the "App"), developed by Tahir ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Accounts
To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use the App.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
2. Service Description
Expenses Meet is a personal finance and group expense tracking app designed to help users organize money. It allows you to track personal income and expenses, create and manage spending categories, view reports and balance summaries, split shared bills in groups, record settlements, and receive notifications. The App supports an offline-first experience with optional cloud sync for supported account data. Features include adding personal credit/debit expenses, group expense splitting, loan record functionality, and options to report bugs or request features. The app provides security features like app lock and hide/show balance functionality with a PIN.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the App or any service to which it connects, with or without notice, at any time.
3. User Responsibilities & Restrictions
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that might harm, disrupt, or impair the App or its services. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: uploading harmful content (e.g., viruses), attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfering with other users' enjoyment of the App, or engaging in any form of data scraping or reverse engineering.
You are solely responsible for any content you upload, input, or generate within the App, including personal financial data and group expense details. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to input such data and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
4. Data Storage and Security
The App uses an offline-first approach, meaning much of your data is stored locally on your device. For supported data, cloud synchronization is available. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
While we implement security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You acknowledge that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for ensuring the security of your device where local data is stored and for the security of your account credentials.
5. Intellectual Property
The Expenses Meet app, its original content (excluding user-provided data), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Tahir and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Pakistan and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Tahir.
6. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. Tahir does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
In no event shall Tahir, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; (iii) any content obtained from the App; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. We may notify you of changes within the App or via the contact email associated with your account.
By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the App.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
